The outlook of the ice restaurant in Harbin.
Chinanews, Dec. 28 C An ice restaurant started operation on Monday in
Harbin when the city held its ice and snow exposition. It is so far the
biggest ice restaurant in China.
The restaurant, built with ice in a European style, was an attraction at
the exposition. All parts inside the restaurant are built in ice too,
including the roof, the wall, a bar room, chairs and other decorations.
While some guests were eating hot-pot, others were having some hot drinks
on ice chairs.
The restaurant covers an area of 260 square meters and can have up to 100
people eating together. With special measures, temperatures inside the
hotel remain at four or five degrees below zero despite the freezing
minus 30 degrees outside.
