Chinanews, Nov. 23 - As winter arrives, Xinjiang's Urumqi promotes 2005
Silk Road snow tourism. Tianchi Lake, the nearest 4A scenic spot to
Urumqi, on Tianshan Mountain welcomes 500,000 domestic and foreign
tourists a year on average, 78,000 of which from overseas.
