Still 1,500 days before the 2010 Shanghai World Expo opens, a
15-meter-high World Expo countdown clock was unveiled at the South Square
of Shanghai Railway Station on March 23. This railway station is an
onshore gateway of Shanghai and a crucial rail transportation hinge of
China. It is estimated that during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, this
railway station will report a passenger volume of 22 million.
