April 10, 2006 was the third day of the annual Sister's Festival of Miao
ethnic group in Taijiang County of the Qiandongnan (southeast Guizhou
Province) Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. After having dressed up,
1,000 local Miao women showed their glamorous costumes and silver
accessories in the county's Xiumei Square. Their gorgeous costumes
attracted many domestic and foreign tourists.
