New Silk Road World Modeling Contest starts

"The Pearl of Taihu Lake-Wuxi 2005 New Silk Road World Modeling Contest"
commenced in the Chong'an Temple in Wuxi in east China's Jiangxu Province
on Sept.13th. 60 models from 46 countries in the world gathered in Wuxi
to participate in a series of contests here. Pictured, Li Xiaobai,
managing director of New Silk Road Models Inc., beat the gong at the
opening ceremony at the Chong'an Temple.

Pictured, a contestant took photos with a policewoman in Wuxi's Chong'an
Temple on Sept.13th.
